Marks and Spencer (M&S) operates approximately 1,000 food, clothing, and homewares retail outlets across the UK. Since 2013, Erith has been an approved and trusted Licensed Asbestos Removal Contractor within the M&S supply chain. We work closely and collaboratively with various M&S supply chain contractors to complete projects in both live operational and temporarily closed stores.

Erith utilises a dedicated national delivery team for M&S, resourced from each of our regional offices, providing nationwide coverage throughout England, Scotland, and Wales. This is supported by a proven network and national infrastructure for both front and back-of-office operations.

hour emergency response

Our work encompasses planned and reactive maintenance as part of ongoing remodelling programmes and emergency call-out requirements, often involving out-of-hours responses. Projects include enabling works for electrical and exploratory tasks, as well as soft-strip and asbestos removal works across various M&S stores and offices in the UK.

We have successfully carried out works in locations including London, Stoke, Cambridge, Reading, Brighton, Newcastle, Glasgow, and Cardiff. Our projects require flexible working and demonstrate exemplary levels of quality, health and safety, professionalism, and customer service, along with a proven 24-hour emergency response service.

Projects include non-licensed/licensed, notifiable/non-notifiable works of both planned and emergency/reactive nature. When buildings remain open during normal trading hours, asbestos removal works are conducted during evening hours while the store is closed to the public, with works protected by bespoke hoarding enclosures. Projects involve removals within boiler rooms, offices, and food, clothing, and houseware stores, including the removal of AIB, bulkheads, and floor tiling/bitumen, along with full decontaminations.
